We encourage cross-track submissions aligned to societal impact and UN SDG themes where relevant.

How to submit

  1. Prepare a 1–2 page abstract (objectives, methods, key results, limitations).
  2. Optional: link to data/code repositories.
  3. Name your file: FTSS2025_Lastname_Topic.pdf.
  4. Email your abstract to [email protected] with subject “Abstract Submission”.
  5. Receive acknowledgement within 3 business days.

  • Review timeline: rolling review, final decisions 4–6 weeks after submission.
  • Acceptance criteria: originality, methodological rigor, clarity, and relevance.
  • Conflict of interest: declare funding and affiliations in your abstract.

Requirements and ethics

  • Formatting: PDF, 2 pages max, references excluded from page limit.
  • Ethics compliance: confirm IRB/ethics approvals where applicable.
  • Plagiarism policy: submissions must be original; similarity checks may be run.
  • Data availability: include a statement describing dataset access.

Awards and publications

  • Best Paper and Best Poster awards selected by an independent committee.
  • Partner journals may invite extended versions for special issues.
  • Proceedings: curated selection with DOIs where applicable.
  • Indexing: metadata shared to improve discoverability.
